    Pros

It is free to do anything that interests you. The teaching load is light. The graduate students are brilliant.

    Cons

The leadership sucks. The thing the leaders care most is the visitors or famous guys, not their own members. Both the salary and the compensation are low.

    Advice to Management

Make the promotion criteria transparent. Keep your words. Treat your members with respect.

    Pros

It's one of the best universities in China and gives you an opportunity to meet people who are also interested in Academia. Also, as a result of its status, it is a lot more dependable as you don't have to worry about it disappearing or any other of the criss that can happen with a Chinese employer.

    Cons

There is not a lot of support and you are basically left on your own to figure out what is needed. Also, as it is a state institution, you won't be paid at a high level.

    Advice to Management

One thing that it could do is encourage more networking for foreign instructors. Provide happy hours or other events that would let foreign instructors to meet each other outside of the work environment.
