Pros
When I rate my work at TSMC, am particularly referring to my group headed by a foriengner who is one of the top most person in the field as well as the first fellow (highest academic title in a company) of the company. Since I work directly with this person as my boss, my work at TSMC has raised my academic, professional as well as my technical standards which am glad it came at an early stage of my career.
Cons
Language could be an issue if working in a group thats not headed by a forienger.
Advice to Senior Management

Advice to Senior Management
I think it's the best company in semi cond. field. But sometimes the tedious work and long time working could be improved.
Pros
The engineers' quality and sense of semiconductor area are very strong and most engineers are proactive and willing to learn new things. It is very comfortable to be a manager or technical leader to lead the project.
Cons
The job loading and stress are very high for a manager level to handle a project. The endless job assignments are always coming to your desk, no matter day or night. There is very few time to consider other things, such as family, friends and social relationship.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't hire manager who worked for foreign country for a long time and don't understand the culture of Taiwan and TSMC.
Pros
good profit sharing and annual salary
Cons
still busy but it is getting better than before
Pros
good work/life balance with reasonable salary
Cons
stringent secure policy: no smart phones allowed in the office
