    Pros

It can really be a boost to your career. The tech team was really good and you could also find some good people in design and product. If you are lucky and are part of a nice team, it can really be a good experience, but be aware that teams change a lot.

    Cons

Too many divas (specially in design and product). They can't admit they're wrong sometimes and put the blame on everybody else. There are also tech divas, but it's less common.

    Advice to Management

Some of the company well known sentences are not to be proud of. They don't set people in an environment to work positively

    Pros

In Spain, Tuenti is probably one of the best companies to work in if you are an engineer. There you'll be able to face some great technical challenges and grow as a professional. Salaries are also good and both the top management and the product team is getting better, after changing its CEO and its Head of Product.

    Cons

Being bought by Telefonica has imposed a change of character and focus in the company, although it has given it the resources it needs to grow.

    Advice to Management

You hire the best professionals around -trust them. Don't lean just on the opinion of the top management or the Product team, but be open to feedback from your users and your engineers.

    Pros

    Good salary
    Great office
    Good perks

The office has a great location - right in Madrid's city center

    Cons

It used to be a great company to work for, but the latest changes in top management (specially CTO) made lot of people leave the company (as well as lots of people getting fired: ie the whole QA department at once).

The Tech side is now on maintenance mode, and it has moved from an internet company to a Telco one (which its pros and cons).

Horrible decisions were made from a technical point of view as well as product ones.

It is a company full of HiPPOs now.

    Advice to Management

Trust more experienced people than you, who are already in the company.

    Pros

Great people and company culture, fair pay and benefits, challenging projects

    Cons

Undefined business priorities, difficulties to set a long term career as Telefonica seems to be less and less interested on keeping all the good things up.

    Pros

Tuenti engineering culture is one of the best you can find in Spain. There isn't too many companies that use what I usually call "American Style" when running a Software company on Spain: software developers have a great impact on the decisions and the way the things are done, there is a clear career path as an engineer (no need to promote to non-coding positions if it is not what you want) and the quality of the people who work there is far above the average.
It had helped me as well to have a better CV and a great professional network (lot of the engineers that left end up in other interesting companies like Facebook, Google, Spotify, Atlassian...)

    Cons

IMO Tuenti is slowly going down as a company; their challenges are not that attractive any more. However, it is still one of the best companies to work in Spain as a software engineer, their processes, tools and knowledge still beat (by far) most of the companies on the country.

There is a lot of pressure and it is not expected to have a good your work/personal life balance. I'd recommend it if you are young and you want to learn and improve your CV. If you have family you will likely struggle a bit.

    Pros

The team is great. They are the top engineers around. It is the perfect place to go and learn when you want to end up working for top it international companies. People is friendly.

    Cons

Half of the engineers (probably the best ones) have quit in the last year. On the other hand the company has fired a lot of people too. There has been critics to the "product" team. There is a rare atmosphere in the company.

    Pros

A lot young people, with lot of social activities. Great to learn from very smart people. Good salary and perks.

    Cons

Teams used to worked as kingdoms. Really young and unprepared managers. A LOT of micromanagement. Lack of creativity. Very slow and painful development sprints.

    Advice to Management

    Micromanagement kills employes.
