    Pros

Tuenti engineering culture is one of the best you can find in Spain. There isn't too many companies that use what I usually call "American Style" when running a Software company on Spain: software developers have a great impact on the decisions and the way the things are done, there is a clear career path as an engineer (no need to promote to non-coding positions if it is not what you want) and the quality of the people who work there is far above the average.
It had helped me as well to have a better CV and a great professional network (lot of the engineers that left end up in other interesting companies like Facebook, Google, Spotify, Atlassian...)

    Cons

IMO Tuenti is slowly going down as a company; their challenges are not that attractive any more. However, it is still one of the best companies to work in Spain as a software engineer, their processes, tools and knowledge still beat (by far) most of the companies on the country.

There is a lot of pressure and it is not expected to have a good your work/personal life balance. I'd recommend it if you are young and you want to learn and improve your CV. If you have family you will likely struggle a bit.

    Pros

The team is great. They are the top engineers around. It is the perfect place to go and learn when you want to end up working for top it international companies. People is friendly.

    Cons

Half of the engineers (probably the best ones) have quit in the last year. On the other hand the company has fired a lot of people too. There has been critics to the "product" team. There is a rare atmosphere in the company.

    Pros

A lot young people, with lot of social activities. Great to learn from very smart people. Good salary and perks.

    Cons

Teams used to worked as kingdoms. Really young and unprepared managers. A LOT of micromanagement. Lack of creativity. Very slow and painful development sprints.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Micromanagement kills employes.

    Pros

Great mates, location and perks. Overall friendly environment, everyone very approachable. Even the CEO.

    Cons

No clear path ahead when it comes to product, moved towards mobile app development as of late but both technical and product staff are not knowledgeable enough about the space. Code base shape is quite bad and there is no time to improve it. At the same time the message is that tuenti is a tech company. Too much process, makes developers slow. Less than able product staff. No accountability when it comes to poor product decisions. No real career path as the product is stagnant. Loads of senior people leaving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure everyone taken decisions actually has the talent to back them up. People that have been there for years w/o getting good results (when it comes to product adoption) should be let go.

Former Employee - Senior Software Engineer in Barcelona (Spain)

    Pros

Salaries are a little above the average and most of the technical mates are really good engineers and software developers. The office is nice and you have the games, foods and this stuff (which is not common on Spain).

    Cons

Obsolete tools and technology. No chance for improve that. No time to fix things. Just adding new and more technical debt.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let people do their job, provide the proper tools and listen to their suggestions. You have (or had) a great technical team constrained by management and senior leads.
