Pros – Great staff environment, everyone gets along pretty well. Flexible Hours for student workers

Cons – Parking is a pain, most offices require work study for student employees

Pros – The benefits are good and the pay is decent. You have access to a lot of the campus activities that are going on.

Cons – Departments come and go and restructuring seems to happen a lot. There are not a lot of ways to move up. Often expected to work long hours.

Pros – Tulane is a good place to work if you're looking for a low key place to hang for a few years.

Cons – There are minimal opportunities for advancement for staff. Situation may be better for those in academic careers.

Advice to Senior Management – should offer opportunities to promote from within the company

Pros – The best reason I can think of to work at Tulane University would be the benefits. The perk of having your children go to school for free.

Cons – There is no communication, very unethical, and horrible place to be employed. Very political with no due process or praise for superior work.

Advice to Senior Management – Learn how to effectivley monitor Departments so they are not an independent entity. They are able to do whatever they want to do.
