I worked at Tupperware as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a great place to work. The employees here are great, and they are very friendly. Pay rate is good, and you have a good changes for advancement.

    Cons

I have no cons to speak of honestly.

I have been working at Tupperware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the employees in my department are in their middle ages and yet they are up to speed on the latest technologies. This lends to a mature work environment where mature and reasoned discussion takes place. No empire builders, just people who want to do a good job.

    Cons

Well...we have to dance and clap at the all employee meetings. I don't mind but it is funny to watch how uncomfortable the other IT people will become at the meetings.

I worked at Tupperware full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid internship, great company discount and great working environment. The leadership takes an interest in your development, which is rare. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Cons

Some issues with communication exist, so be sure to get everything in writing. Improvements could be made in terms of strategic company growth. The culture seems to be one that "brushes things under the rug," so that is an area of improvement.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Sales requirements to stay active are just high enough to encourage some activity, but not high enough that it is un-achievable. GREAT sales incentives and rewards. Growth potential. Works the phrase "you get out of it what you put into it" very well.

    Cons

It can be a lot of "stuff" to have and carry places with you. Its easy to get caught in a replacement trap, where everyone wants to warranty items and nobody wants to buy anything. Sales can greatly depend on how the media is portraying the economy.

I have been working at Tupperware as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, lifetime warranty, make as much as you work for.

    Cons

return policy is not good if an error is made your just stuck.

    Advice to Management

Don't punish consultants for not being able to make over 150.00 in sales every party.

I have been working at Tupperware part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can make my own schedule. AMAZING training from great leaders. FREE cars! HUGELY discounted products. FREE trips. AMAZING products! It really sells itself!

    Cons

I don't feel like there really are any "cons" to working at Tupperware. But, if I had to choose 1, it would be the fact that they have a new sales flyer each month... which means you have to buy samples each month. That is also a good thing if you think about it... keeps customers coming back!

    Advice to Management

I would love to have a better website, and better "warrantee" program. Not the program itself, but the system for returning products.
