    Pros

Previous management was professional and focused. It's a business after all. Made many friends, co-workers were collaborative. Enjoy several projects. Felt like a team effort. Ratings were steady/high. Programming was targeted. Brand was established.

    Cons

Unfocused and unrealistic with new brand identity and not thrilled with recent new senior hires. Every man for himself now. Several layoffs or people just jumped ship.

    Advice to Management

Take a close look at the network management.

    Pros

Great pay and benefits, enjoyed the people in my department, lots of perks.

    Cons

The job completely consumed my personal life and I was constantly expected to stay well after the 8 hour mark. You are compensated for overtime but is it worth completely losing touch with the rest of your life? My personal vote is, no.

    Pros

I have been able to learn a lot of things and been given a lot of responsibilty

    Cons

I feel I am ready to move to the next level but there is no open position so I can't get promoted.

    Advice to Management

At lower levels (like the move from Analyst to Manager) it shouldn't be necessary to have an open position. If someone is qualified they should be able to move up.

    Pros

everyone is very friendly, eager to meet you, and eager to help I had a summer internship there, and I was able to meet with countless executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs, etc.) who were all very helpful team-oriented, but don't have someone over your shoulder

    Cons

low starting salary not enough training per specific department...it took a while to learn the ropes on my own, and there isn't much structure once the job starts

    Advice to Management

top management is great, but make sure every area is covered on the lower end of the spectrum

    Pros

Good energy, competitive salary, great benefits and vacation. Big company allows room to grow and it is part of the Time Warner family.

    Cons

Promotions given out based on "fitting-in" and not necessarily merit. Progressive and innovative thinking stymied by politics and old way of doing things. Certain areas too bloated.

    Advice to Management

Allocate resources toward content and growth areas and not so much on sales and sales support.
