    Pros

The people in my department are top notch, committed, and helpful. It is one of the few places I have worked with very little in terms of internal politics, and I believe this is based on the way the top management works. Management has a lot of loyalty to employees, and people are retained even if the contract they were on is dropped. Interesting work that actually feels like it is adding positive value to the federal government.

    Cons

working for the federal government can be frustrating with long and uncertain sales cycles

    Pros

Great people. Everyone gets along. No workplace drama. Coffee, soda and tea provided by the company. Small company. CEO is present.

    Cons

Morale is bad. No promoting from within. Very bleak outlook for upward mobility. Standards aren't clear. Expectations are not clear.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within. Give your employees incentive to stay.

    Pros

work is easy, co-workers are friendly

    Cons

If you need sponsorship, greencard or h1b, they will make sure you will NOT get 1/2 of market salary. They use old technologies. 10% of people in the project are developers, which is incredible low percentage. There is little benefit. you get cash bonus about $1k for a year.

    Advice to Management

management needs to learn more about technical knowledge.

    Pros

Constant opportunity for progressive levels of responsibility for technically proficient software designer, developer, QA test; also for implementation specialists

    Cons

A successful rollout requires long hours bringing the final release in alignment with the requirements because the government clients often define their true requirements, right before the production deadline, after they work with a Beta release
