I have been working at Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center full-time

    Pros

Very organized, very supportive company. Great training and resources available if they are implemented as expected, these tools can help you have a strong, efucated, nurturing team. The love and support from the families are all the appreciation one needs to know you are making a difference. Great curriculum.

    Cons

As a director anywhere, there is zero room for error when your dealing with a customers two most important assests: their children & their money. There is a lot demanded of you by the company, your employees, and your customers. There is a lot of paperwork and a lot of financial responsibilities which can really leave you left pulled in all directions. There are LONG hours. These are all cons of a Director position anywhere though.

    Pros

If you like kids and taking care for them, its a great place to be. The teachers are awesome!

    Cons

Your schedule revolves around the amount of kids there at the time. If they're there late, so are you/ If they're aren't a lot of kids there for the day, you go home. It can be chaotic, with combined classes

  7. Its hard to leave cause the kids are great

    Pros

Off on weekends and holidays. The other teachers are so understanding and willing to help out.

    Cons

Management pretends to care about you and the kids, but once youre not around they talk about you behind your back. Youre not valued as a teacher.

    Advice to Management

Dont talk about your teachers behind their backs. Maybe if you tried actually listening and appreciated them, they wouldnt quit so often. Try being in a classroom for a day or two and then see how hard it can be sometimes. Dont try and give other ways to handle situations when the teachers already know they wont work.

  8. My job as an assistant teacher is almost always stressful but worth it. What job with kids isn't intense?

I have been working at Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Alright pay, off on weekends, off on holidays. Your fellow coworkers become your friends.

    Cons

Hours aren't always for sure, I've had to stay 15-20 minutes later for weeks at a time. I've also had employees who have been here for a long time act very rude because they are extremely buddy buddy with the boss.

    Advice to Management

Have a nice attitude towards your staff! That's how you keep them. And don't change your employees schedule suddenly even when they asked for not having that schedule.

    Pros

I take pride in my classroom and love my Littles. Everyday is a new day and look forward to watching them learn and grow. Benefits, Education, and PTO are nice as well.

    Cons

Not compensated well enough, even when you go above and beyond, switching of children from class to class too frequently to maintain minimal staff coverage,

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs a new system for annual raises. However, Support Central is on point.
