    Pros

Company at my specific branch were all very friendly and helpful with basic day to day tasks. Nice new office and they give you a car for your travels.

    Cons

If you don't know something, good luck figuring it out cause there will be no help from the management. They provided minimal support and education on the the products you are asked to sell.

    Advice to Management

Start the new people off with ride alongs, making sure that those who are selling your products know what they are talking about.

    Pros

Like most sales jobs, you get what you put in. The job has a great work life balance. Awesome training in Boca Raton, FL. Great benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Company vehicle with all insurance, gas, and maintenace
paid. Good company to get your foot in the door and get professional experience.

    Cons

Numbers numbers numbers! They hound you for proposals! It seems that proposals are more important than sales. Lots of little conference calls and webinars that waste your time and get your out of the field during prime selling hours (although they are working on it) They don't use salesforce, but use their own propitiatory system which blows. Lots of company leads also suck--you are really on your own.

    Advice to Management

Stop implementing procedures and targets that don't make sense for a field rep!

    Pros

Benefits, training, company vehicle, pay within industry standard.

    Cons

Sr management has lost sight of what serving customers is actually all about. Cutting costs and beating down the employees is driving good technicians away.

    Advice to Management

Pull your head out of your conference calls and take care of the delivery process. The rest will come.

    Pros

    Steady Paycheck
    Decent benefits
    Regular Hours
    Company Vehicle for Installers

    Cons

Upper management incapable of telling anyone the truth about anything
Lower management to even a state level not allowed to make any decisions
Company doesn't care about emploees or their direct customers
I've never seen moral this low in any company
    Nobody trusts anyone else
No motivation from the company to excell
    No training
    No support
    No place for advancement
Company has been downsizing at an alarming rate
This company preaches ethics, but doesn't practice it at all.

    Advice to Management

Go back to college and take the management course again. According to a proven successful business model, happy employees lead to a successful company. Without happy customers you are bankrupt. Successful management structures are a pyramid. Rule from the top down. Let local managers manage locally and intervene only when expectations aren't being met.

    Pros

Decent salary, most managers are flexible to allow for decent work/life balance, good knowledgeable and friendly employees.

    Cons

Upper Management always says that "Our employees are our most valuable asset" and they always talk about how much free cash we have available. At the same time they are quick to outsource and lay off their "most valuable assets" and not replace the voids making more work for those left behind. This has employees always looking over their shoulders and making the work environment unfavorable.

    Advice to Management

Truly invest more in your people instead of just saying you are doing this. Stop getting rid of your "most valuable assets" and keep the people who have helped you achieve all the free cash you have on hand and again invest in them.
