ghetto, poor, lack of funding, clicks, mean people, racism, lots of bad kids that could bring you down, need to get better school

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

redo the whole school as it is due for an up;grade and the teachers deserve it too, overall good place to owrk at

I have been working at Tyler Independent School District

    Pros

Great holidays - four weeks of holidays/time off during the year, in addition to two weeks' vacation. In my department, supervisors are knowledgeable and supportive.

    Cons

Too many government regulations make it difficult to get anything done. As soon as a new technology is in place, the government or district changes a requirement and we're forced to adapt.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give good feedback and stay out of the way.

I have been working at Tyler Independent School District

    Pros

Employer has excellent hours for my profession, very convenient to family life. Middle mgmt is very open to family issues and needing time off of work.

    Cons

You work for education, so therefore pay is on the low end. You must like what you do and not work for the pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Regardless of what Austin says salaries need to be, look at the local area and career field for your estimates on salaries.
