ProsLaid back. You will not be fired for not taking initiatives.

ConsPromotion is based on relationship for the most part.
Compensation is not performance based. There are too many lifers who are there to collect pay checks, and it frustrated me to try to get the job done.
Company locates in small town. Many team member do not know what a competition in metropolitan area is like.

Advice to Senior ManagementMove the company to a city to attract more capable team members.

ProsInformal culture compared to other corporations. Very laid back. Easy access to management on all levels. VERY family oriented. GREAT place to start at right out of college. Interns often move into full time positions. Overall, great company to work for...

ConsPay is not as competitive as some CPG companies, however the cost of living is lower. The city can be bit challenging to live in if you life get out.... You'll travel often to go to concerts and events.

Advice to Senior ManagementHelp younger team members develop quicker by allowing them to be more involved in strategic planning initiatives. It helps to be able to understand the rationale behind the decisions being made.
