Pros
Some of the position, you even don't need to think at all. There is a lot of Nice coworkers. The bank also has a lot of paid day off.
Cons
The salaries is low. The company still use a lot of old technologies. The computer is super slow. Most of the benefit is not available for the part-time employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Be closer to the lower lever people, don't just hang out with the same level of management. Please don't just talk on paper.
Pros
Company direction, senior management, opportunity for growth, recognition, strong company with strong morales!!! Richard Davis CEO, the company is definelty heading in right direction and will remai
Strong
Cons
Some of the cons could be the compensation for the entry level positions, hours of operation!!!
Advice to Senior Management
Keep on doing what your doing, stay smart and focused and always what step ahead of the competitor. Try increasing starting pay to decrease on turnover.
Pros
Casual attire, flexible time, bank holidays, purchased vacation
Cons
culture prevents internal employee growth
Advice to Senior Management
focus on employees instead of making pretty reports
Pros
Anyone can get hired here if they are presentable in an interview, great place for people looking to get a foot in the door in the banking industry.
Very LGBT and tolerant of cultural/social/religious differences.
Cons
Once you're hired you're stuck in your position, no matter how good your numbers are.
Low wages compared to other banks.
HORRIBLE benefits, it is a crime they even charge you for them - Individual 'Premium' health plan = $105/mo with a $1500 deductible, thanks leadership.
Nepotistic promotions, performance means nothing, networking and relationships are the only way to move up or laterally in the company.
Sr. Managers pay lip service and either does not care or outright steals the ideas of their middle managers and subordinates.
Many uneducated, unqualified, and incompetent high level leaders - our Regional VP did not even have an undergrad, and was proud of the fact.
Performance is a hindrance not a factor in your career future, top performers are rewarded with certificates and then expected to carry the workload for their incompetent co - workers.
No accountability for middle management or senior leaders, show up and you won't get fired, show up and kiss butt and you'll be head of the department in no time.
Cincinnati call center is a three ring circus and a joke.
Bank as a whole lacks proper project management, process roll out, and communication - new processes are rolled out without preparation and because project managers are not business educated the process is horrible and makes for angry customers with demands from leadership as to why customer satisfaction surveys are down.
Managers do not have interest, understanding, or knowledge of economy, business, and banking fundamentals.
IF YOU ARE GOOD AT BROWN-NOSING, INCOMPETENCE, BEING A YES MAN, AND NOT HAVING A BUSINESS EDUCATION WHILE USING 'SMOKE AND MIRRORS' TO APPEAR MORE THAN YOU ARE, YOU WILL EXCEL AT USBANK.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your tenured employees more, should not have to work for 10 years to be at salary midpoint. Top leadership needs to examine division heads and some other higher level managers, they have no idea these people are ruining their bank by unethically trampling their employees. RIchard K. Davis is a good leader, top brass needs to put the eye on the microscope and see why process roll out and employee satisfaction is so low. Nepotistic promotions must stop. Employees need more freedom to move departments and develop careers.
Pros
Cake goals... Just show up and you have a job
Cons
Management could care less.. There is zero accountability to anything other than operations and compliance... Sales? What are those? They hold no one accountable and you are better off be mediocre and under the radar.. Those that actually perform, get everyone trying to aevthem down. There is no loyalty ad zero support.. And zero consistency.. You should see what sone people get fired for.. Crazy.no consistency and they ave thecworst hr people you ave ever met...
Advice to Senior Management
If you ever want to play with the nig banks you need to hold people accountable to ther goals...
Pros
good benifits, decent operations team,
Cons
horrible management high turnover, write-ups and termination always weighing on shoulders
Advice to Senior Management
realize you are nothing without your employees, train them and work with them, dont make them feel like they are so replaceable
Pros
Benefits are good, Most departments have flexible work hours and try to work with you on your schedule
Cons
The communication from the management in a lot of the departments is lacking. Different departments do not work as a team to help the clients
Advice to Senior Management
Look closer at who you have in your lower management positions.
Pros
Salary is above average
Overall nice people to work with
Cons
Benefits are horrendous. The absolute worst in the land.
Technology from middle ages. Computer systems and software sorely outdated from years ago.
Unfair bias of certain management favoring certain non-deserving employees, who always break the rules over others who are deserving and adhere to company policies . Lack of training opportunities made available to employees.
Advice to Senior Management
management should listen to their employees and customers more often. Overall, management needs to do a much better job evaluatioin of their staff. The wrong people are being let go, which will in the long run hurt the company.
Pros
Great Call Center experience
Great starting salary, esp. just getting out of college
Coworkers are very personable and easy to get along with
Workload is balanced
Yearly performance reviews
Cons
No repercussions for poor job performance
Very poor inter-department communication which leads to confusion in the TSSC help desk
Benefits could be better
It seems like complaints from employees aren't followed-up on by senior management
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to employees more and understand that what is being said isn't to create hot air, but to help make the TSSC run the well-oiled machine it should be.
Pros
The pay was better that minimum wage
I met some great people (coworkers)
They provide 5 weeks of training
Cons
30 minutes for lunch
Metrics are not balanced
support takes forever not enough
the 1 on 1 coaching is a JOKE
Advice to Senior Management
Micro management is not good for moral and betters nothing, managers should actually take calls at least 1-3 hours a month to stay keen on procedures and to understand first hand why the metrics are not balanced.. you are asking for speed and quality but there needs to be an adjustment to the speed in which we are expected to finish.
