I worked at U.S. Beef full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Best company ever to work with.
I did not say "work for"
The main thing to always remember is PEOPLE come first.

    Cons

The amount of travel varies with the position that you have. As an area operations manager I was driving 4000 miles a month.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

One mistake in 7+ years does not define a person's performance.

I have been working at U.S. Beef

    Pros

US Beef it a great place to work if you are looking for good sales experience. As long as you get the job done during the week there is alot of flexibility that goes along with it.

    Cons

The job itself can be a grind. It wears on you after awhile. You go door to door to people who have no idea you are coming. You seldom ever get any return business so the sales end of the things never gets any easier. You also have to pay for your gas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less structure would be great. Two meetings a week is over kill. One a week would be fine, and not having to show up at the office every day would be nice too. There is no need for it.
