    ProsThis company provides great benefits, ability to advance quickly within the company, relativity flexible work schedule, team sales environment, decent pay compared to other wireless carriers.

    ConsThe company seems to be unsuccessful in some markets. The training program is very long but worthwhile. If you work at a slower location you will not have a lot of opportunity to earn high commissions.

    ProsWonderful company to work for! The Values and Behaviors of the organization are the core of the business. The leaders in the company truly look after their associates.

    -Pay (now but it did take forever for them to get there)
    -Health Ins.
    -time of
    -work/life balance

    All in all, this is a wonderful company to work for!

    ConsFor being in the wireless industry the company is a little slow to change. Working with business accounts, you sometimes don't always have the tools that you need to win business. Some of the business processes don't make any sense even with new changes that are coming, it doesn't seem like enough information is gathered and we are going back after something is launched to fix it.

    Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to focus on Growth! When making changes company wide as far as plans, tools, etc., get more feedback from the frontline associates. When I say frontline, that means retail as well as other channels within the organization. There is understandably a huge focus on retail but sometimes the other support functions tend to be left out. Remember that all of our channels working together will allow us to succeed!

    Cannot say enough good things about this organization. They really take care of their employees and customers!

    ProsAll of the people that work at US Cellular are phenomenal. The benefits are great (Health, dental, vision, 401k, stock options) and the compensation plan is wonderful. Most commission based jobs do not come with decent hourly wages as well, but US Cellular is very competitive in their compensation plans for sales people
