I worked at U.S. Nonwovens Corp full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I worked for USN for about 4 years and enjoyed my time with the company. Yes some days were better than others but at the most part the owners were always fair with me and I never felt micromanaged, although I know others were. I definitely look at my time at USN as a learning experience and would have continued to work for U.S. Nonwovens if the salary and benefits were accommodating.

    Cons

Hourly employees are not treated as well as salaried employees. Two weeks max PTO no matter how long you are with the company and the benefits are non-existent unless you count the free pizza.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The owners tend to reward and favor loyal employees who have been with the company for years but typically these employees are your "problems". You hire competent employees to run your company, let them and adopt a more hands-off approach. You may be surprised by what you see.

I worked at U.S. Nonwovens Corp full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good for part time job .
    Initially they promise long term.
Their sense of long term = 1 to 3 weeks .
    Middle management is good.

    Cons

Nothing is organised . No long trem jobs.
You will get an email to leave immediately while you are working.
Employment in this company is like revolving door.
If they found someone who can work for half of what they pay you, consider its your last day of work in the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Every one will have budget problems.
Your actions not only effect employees, it also will have effect on families.
Be fair with employees.,Don't hire employees for week or two, Let them know if you do so.
X-Employees will spread the word of your management strategy, which in turn may effect your business & company reputation.
YOU WASTING YOUR TIME & MONEY BY HIRING EMPLOYEES FOR 1- 2 WEEK (They do nothing but training in that time)
STOP WASTING YOUR TIME IN SEARCHING FOR NEW EMPLOYEES & TAKE CARE OF CURRENT EMPLOYEES.

The main bathroom is sort of nice and the grass outside is taken care of.
