Pros
Plenty of Growth and customer service oriented!
Cons
Not a lot of perks
Advice to Senior Management
Some of the managers are excellent , but you have to be lucky to work with the right person!
Pros
The telecom industry has been going through a very difficult time in the last decade. TelePacific has managed to stay ahead of the competition in terms of service levels and customer service.
Cons
High turn over, everchanging comp plan.
Pros
TPac is a fun company to work for most of the time. Training in Vegas was fun. It's nice to work for a company where it's possible to speak to senior management if you need to. That would be unheard of if you worked for a company like Comcast.
Cons
The sales manager and mentor at our office are for the most part worthless. The manager helps her favorites and the mentor helps no one but himself.
Advice to Senior Management
If the company goes public, local management will need to get some training on how to treat employees in a publicly owned corporation. Upper management should either dump the mentorship program or get mentors who actually want to mentor and not just collect more salary.
Pros
We can call our CEO directly to discuss any concerns and /or accomplishments.
It is a 1600 person company but TelePacific still maintains a small company feel.
TelePacific has the best customer service in the industry.
Cons
TelePacific does not do a great job in training.
There is not a ton of room for advancement.
Heavy churn amongst employees
TelePacific is more reactive than proactive for any issues that may arise internally.
Esthetically the offices are not well maintained meaning they could use some TLC. However, TelePacific’s corporate offices are nice. The corporate office is located in downtown LA.
Advice to Senior Management
More attention needs to be paid on all internal process/systems. They are poorly implemented.
