    Pros

Austin operation is generally well-run by local folks with genuine respect for individuals. Work-life balance is excellent. If you love to see new technology inside-and-out, this is a fun workplace. You will learn what it really means to be detail oriented when you work here.

    Cons

After the company was purchased and merged with operations in Ottawa and Shanghai, things went downhill. The home office in Canada began introducing useless systems and software, and made any sort of advancement nearly impossible. A "technology company" that is run by HR policy? No thanks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Separate the Austin office. It is a unique business within the company and knows how to run itself. Do this before you lose the rest of your best people.
