    Pros

Great location in southern California's Orange County. Benefits are good and the pay is ok so you can enjoy the weekends at the beach.

    Cons

The required yearly contract situation makes it very difficult to have plans at a medium to long term which is not ideal

    Pros

Great coworkers, great environment, very welcoming community. Had a lot of training before I started calling people, and also received a lot of feedback from coworkers and supervisors!

    Cons

Very weird hours. Gets repetitive. Very competitive

    Advice to Management

To keep it fun and new. Don't let everyday be so repetitive and be a bit more creative with planning your days/weeks.

    Pros

-Supervisors and workers in general are pretty nice to you, but you of course have to make the effort too
-As an intern, I do have connections with my superiors and they are more than willing to refer me to certain jobs or provide a recommendation
-Main focus is patient satisfaction/care/experience, which is definitely a great thing

    Cons

-None that I can think of

    Pros

Decent professors and courses. It's not the best at everything but not the worse either. It doesn't offer some courses compared to other higher ranked colleges but it's a good start.

    Cons

Some upper div professors don't engage with students. They also don't appear to want to teach or aren't really good teachers.

    Advice to Management

I with the professors spent more time to create better assignments for the courses instead of reading off slides.

    Pros

If you are in a top lab (access to latest instruments, reagents, collaborators) you have the potential to go far.

    Cons

If you are in a mediocre lab, your degree will not get you into top companies in your field.

    Pros

I am working at MAE department as a researcher. The environment is good, I learned a lot thanks to weekly meetings about the project.

    Cons

There are very few benefits for the intern students. I don't have free access to the parking lots and to the gym.

    Advice to Management

I don't have nothing to say

    Pros

Can be some easy money depending on the course and professor.
Finish the job wherever you feel like.

    Cons

Payment is set. Some may have a lot less work but still earn the same as everybody else.
Can't work more hours even if you want to.

    Advice to Management

Maybe the apartment should post all positions online, so students and professors can both time in massive emails.

    Pros

Good medical and retirement benefit. Flexible work hour. Nice, Safe Campus.

    Cons

    1. Very little salary
    2. Not enough scientific stimulation

    Advice to Management

Ordering system for Lab supply with KFS is bureaucratic and not efficient.

    Pros

It is rewarding to be a part of the process that takes incoming students, provides them with knowledge and learning experiences, and then sends them out into the world to lead the next generation.

    Cons

As with any government job, this is a large bureaucracy and the salaries are limited when compared to private companies.

    Advice to Management

Be careful not to be a part of the pitfalls associated with large, bureaucratic organization and find non-cash ways to reward employees.
