Pros

-- business trips to Germany, Canada;
-- amazing people -- that includes an amazing boss;
-- interesting software, i.e. who would not be interested in air-traffic control simulations?

Cons

-- pay is not as good as other software companies in the Boston area;
-- benefits were getting worse every year;

Advice to Senior Management

-- the management is great;
-- maybe it would help to share more often with the employees what exactly is going on, i.e. whether we have clients, projects, etc.

Pros

Nice co-workers, okay supervisors.
Can listen to music while you work.
A gym for the staff.

Cons

Upper Management outward display of disrespect towards office workers
Management bullying of office workers to achieve goals.
Total disregard for suppliers payment terms and policies.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your workers treat them with respect.
Realize throwing money at a problem isn't going to retain employees.
Be more accessible to your suppliers.

Pros

Very good, relaxed working environment. Opportunities to travel (including abroad) even in the role of a software engineer -- but without having travelling become a burden like in some sonsulting companies. You either have your own office or share with one other person at most, and all offices have big windows.

Cons

Small company, so lower salaries. Benefits are not that great. No opportunities for 'advancement'. Working in Woburn is not exactly my dream.

Advice to Senior Management

I have had no problems with the management whatsoever. They are great. I only wish somebody makes it a company policy that we could take extra unpaid time off, if we so desired, without anybody making a big deal out of it.
