I worked at UIG as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros when a company steals from its employees. I just want to warn those out there considering working for this company; don't! There are much better companies out there.

    Cons

They lie and steal from you; this company doesn't deserve to be in business and really should be shut down by the insurance commissioner based on the actions of their managers - petty thieves. Unbelieveable!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My hope is that someday, you will be shut down and all of you get what is coming to you - a day when you have to listen to a judge give you your guilty sentence.

I have been working at UIG as a contractor

    Pros

    They provide some fair leads.

    Cons

They roll people and keep the renewals, they take a larger cut of the business than most top tier FMOs, They do not follow up business submissions nor commissioms very well. They actually charge you well above reasonable cost for E&O Insurance ($40 a month) and business cards ($25 for 250).

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
