    Pros

Great company mission. The company is always looking for cost effective ways to provide superior service to customers. They also provide excellent benefits.

    Pros

I worked at UPS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great supervisors, great lunch, my hours were nice, okay safety regulations (except for the part about throwing me on a job I wasn't necessarily trained for)

    Cons

They throw you into hard lines before you're ready so that the senior employees can have it easier. They trained me for irregulars and sent me to a belt I had no idea what I was doing.

    Advice to Management

Consider giving your employees better time to adjust to hard lines.

I have been working at UPS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Well I want to drive for UPS but I'm so far down the list to drive because of seniority, I may never get to drive for another 2years or more.

    Cons

Im so far down the list to become a driver, because of seniority and no one is retiring like we were told it may happen.

    Advice to Management

Well communication is the key in most management with workers and staff. If we could just all try to improve from all levels if positions that we all hold.

I have been working at UPS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

UPS is a large stable company. There are a lot of areas to work in within your career and there are a lot of good people to work with.

    Cons

UPS is bureaucratic and can be stagnant. The culture can be static and very old fashioned in many ways. Since the IPO and the recession UPS has been struggling to find itself. A lot of the good things it was known for have disappeared- good pay and benefits included.

    Advice to Management

Find yourselves and get a vision. You want to be all things to all customers and frequently lose site of what UPS is good at. You frequently seem like you don't have any idea where you are leading the company.
