    Experience new places
    Always a new crew
    Great benefits
Meet amazing people of all cultures

I worked at US Airways part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

U.S. Airways places a premium on ramp safety.
    Supervisors communicate well with employees.
Company makes sure employees are well-trained.

    Cons

    High turnover.
    Sometimes there were problematic employees.
If you are laid off, poor severance package.
Hectic schedules. Bad working hours, especially for new-hires.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in employees. Offer more pay for third shift workers so that more people might volunteer for less desirable shifts, as opposed to being forced to work them. Also, improve hiring process to avoid hiring unreliable or problematic employees.

I have been working at US Airways full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

As an airline employee you get severely reduced cost scheduled flights, or free flights as long as you can afford to get bumped.
The interview process for technology personnel certainly weeds out those who shouldn't be hired.
The group I was in heavily weighs fitting in with the team.

    Cons

If you want to actually work and build on your skills, this isn't the place for you. Much of your time will be spent trying to figure out how to make it look like something was done, because your manager has to show progress where none was made.
The free flights would be great, if you have time to use them. Within the group I worked it was more a case of putting out fires created by the lack of performing any actual work on the systems.
However, if your personality doesn't fit in with the team, you will likely be looking for a new position very soon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I was unable to see above my direct manager, so I cannot provide any advice of value to senior management.

    Pros

Very impressive.... The flight attendants that came to recruit in PHX. Proffessional, big smile, make you feel welcome. Please be your self.

    Cons

It is true it is hard to get the flight attendant job. The process is long and you really have to be patient. In your heart this is what you really want.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the flight attendant job selective and hired polite good manners people.
