I worked at US Army full-time

    Pros

You are part of a team and fighting for something bigger than yourself. You will learn what sacrafice and discipline truly mean. weather you stay for 3 years or 30, the army will make you a better person

    Cons

Its not for everyone. you lose the ability to do what you want when you want. also there is a lot of standing around. if you are easily frustrated, the army will frustrate you to no end. know what you are getting into and you will be happy, go in with delusions of grandeur and you will be disappointed.

    Pros

Very structured and there were lots of good people that worked there. Great place to develop your own leadership style.

    Cons

There was too much red tape to deal with. People would use rank instead of actual knowledge.

    Advice to Management

Know who your employees are. Someone that looks good on paper might not be the best person for the job.
