Details
Pros
The field can be interesting. There is a world of potential in Biometrics.
The US government is expanding their use of Biometrics. The field is very much up and coming.
Cons
The company will fail. It has never made a profit. The financial backer will tire of pouring money down a hole at some point.
There is a no emphasis on producing a quality product. The development methods change every couple months. Employees can face changing directions quite often.
The management has squandered a beautiful opportunity.
There is no process for employee review. Management fears if they try to implement an annual review process employees will ask for raises. The employee feedback consists of having your job at the end of the day.
Advice to Senior Management
Decide who you are. Hire in leadership that can execute and make sound decisions.
