    Approves of CEO

I have been working at US Bureau of Indian Affairs full-time

    Pros

Benefits with the US Government are the best. They cannot be beat. You make your own hours and its very family oriented.

    Cons

Lack of on the job training when you first start. That just has to do with the current leadership though. Lack of new comers briefing for new employees with the Federal Government

    Advice to Management

Need to assist new employees to the US Government with a new comers briefing. This may not have happened, due to the remoteness of the site, but new employees should be offered a way to go where there is a new comers briefing and someone to assist them with their benefits and options.

  3. Not the best agency to work for

    Pros

The pros would be having AWS.

    Cons

To many cons to address. There's not enough promotion potential or room for advancement for Assistants. They will abuse you with work but never provide room to grow. This has been the worst place I ever worked for.

    Advice to Management

Please hire outside employees. BIA continues to use the same employees to fill various positions and get the same results. They need trained and experienced managers to fix all of the issues they have.

    Pros

Great staff to work with, good work to home balance, very friendly

    Cons

No room for growth, never any job openings. People are constantly leaving and no jobs are backfilled. Constantly given more tasks and multiple jobs but no compensation.

    Advice to Management

Promote the people who have been serving indian country for many years that deserve it. Acknowledge those who do good work.
