I have been working at US Census Bureau part-time for more than 3 years

ProsNot an office job, easy to work around my children's schedule, enjoyed meeting new people everyday, federal job. Complete interviews from your own home or in person at other selected households. If you like to see new areas and drive, this would be a good job for you.

ConsSome people you need to interview can be rude and difficult. Temporary job. Would like to earn vacation, sick days, etc as with a permanent position.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to be more organized and not waste time or money.

ConsTraining week was ponderous
Some supervisors are impossible for everyone to work with

Advice to Senior ManagementBetter screening for supervisors is definitely needed.

ConsDealing with uncooperative residents. Didn't always feel safe while working in some areas.
