Pros
Great exposure to politics and some great opportunities for travel
Cons
Lots of "military-like" chain of command type managers that don't really care about their work...and then on the flip side you find some very aggressive go-getters
Advice to Senior Management
Don't be a meritocracy...let people advance based on their work, not their tenure
