    Pros

Great people, disciplined environment, honor of serving your country. Get to travel the world and build leadership and management skills.

    Cons

Can be hard on the family, especially if you have kids. Work long hours and away from home a lot. Civilian sector can offer higher pay as well.

    Advice to Management

Need to ensure you are retaining the best personnel, not just the Marines that have solid evaluations or remarks. Engaging leadership will keep those great Marines in service too.
