    Pros

It is what you make of it. You will handle stress better than almost anyone, also the impacts of your job you will notice immediately most of the time. Having the title isn't easy and can go a long way. Traveling is a huge plus.

    Cons

No matter how old you are, or what you have done with your life. You will start out at the bottom and sometimes you will have younger people higher rank than you and you will have to listen to their orders. You can get put in weird tasks depending on your job that most might not even consider doing. Not everyone has a degree as well so be ready for immaturity among the ranks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep the motivation up.

    Pros

Got to work with demolitions, drive tanks, shoot machine guns, work with the best people on earth. Got to see the world, great medical, dental, opportunity for promotion

    Cons

Long Hours, focus on useless classes like nutrition and smoking cessation that have absolutely zero relevance to training the warfighter to defeat our nations enemies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop succumbing to political pressure and allowing liberal america to weaken our nations defenses as part of some social experiment

I worked at US Marine Corps

    Pros

Marine Corps is the best job that few ever have. If you can hack Boot camp and training then it will put you a step ahead of others when you join the job market. learn how to lead by example and emulate those that you aspire to become. structured and discplined motivation.

    Cons

Have to leave your family often and sometimes with little notice. schools are long for some MOS and better yet some schools are not a rollover into the civilian job. Recruiters do not always tell you everything you need to know to make a wise decision as to what job you can get or want to do. must fill billeted positions.
