Former Employee – worked at USA800
Pros – USA-800 is a growing company with a "Company ownership" feel. As with any growing company there are countless ways to advance your career and skills. There is no red-tape and you definitly see your actions affecting the bottom line.
Cons – Compensation is 75% of industry norm, with employee stock used to make up the difference. Vacation policy is extremely lacking. Company culture is largely negative; a few "favored" employees drive everything and blame/cover-up is rampant. Overall morale and job satisfaction is negative.
Advice to Senior Management – Issues may be past the point of process or small changes to fix. Consider bringing in an outside evaluation and assistance to trim toxic employees and policies. An infusion of new culture will be required.

Former Employee – worked at USA800 full-time for more than a year
Pros – Used to be their commission, but they took that from us recently.
Cons – This company pays very low, which in turn equals hiring individuals who cannot perform to the management's expectations, which in turn causes high turnover. For those employees who do a good job, they are the ones pulling all the weight while management steals the glory.
They recently took away almost all incentives and commission so there is nothing left to motivate employees other than doing enough to keep their job.
They've increased all working hours to be 10 hour days, you have to request a bathroom break and can sometimes get denied, if you call to request coming in a little late or leaving early then they will write you up based on a point system.
I've never in my life worked for such a disfunctional company that abuses it's employees in this manner. This is the epitome of taking advantage of those people who are in desperate need of jobs during this extreme recession.
Advice to Senior Management – Remove the favoritism, replace the managers with those who know how to motivate and mentor, pay more money to hire qualified individuals to keep them as long term employees so that turnover decreases, and bring back the incentives that make people want to do a great job so that it's performanced-based. Drastic changes are needed to save this company.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at USA800 full-time for more than a year
Pros – There are some real leaders there, but they are over shadowed.
Cons – They talk a good game about respect and support for employees, but the actions of management clearly prove otherwise. The ceo's message is uplifting and energizing but its like his expectations are for staff only because those running the operations fall far short of the mark.
Advice to Senior Management – to achieve what the ceo has in mind, changes are needed at the top
