    Decent job.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosgreat people. co-workers are great and office is laid back.

Conslimited growth potential. company's not growing so there's no tailwind that feeds the company and allows for raises/promotions.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Comfortable but slow paced

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood work/life balance with a comfortable work load. Provides decent benefits, similar to most companies of the same size.

ConsSlow to embrace technology and buildup of internet presence. Upward mobility is lacking, same goes for pay raises. The company has many different branches doing different things so there's no sense of unity except for sharing the same corporate name.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Who Has the Script This Month

Client Manager (Current Employee) Philadelphia, PA

ProsAffinity has an enviable "A" list of association clients located primarily in the Northeast. There is strong focus on benefits selling in the PA market . With effective marketing management there is a vast untapped opportunity for growth among the affinity clients.

ConsLeadership is a relvoving door with a new marketing manager every year so there is no brand consistency. Over half of the c-suite leadership has departed in the last two years. Brokerage model while an effective defense in benefits marketplace has played havoc with affinity groups who need exclusive programs. There are no effeciencies with each acquistion as the existing systems are maintained. Some clients are billed separately from multiple systems depending upon their lines of coverage.

Advice to Senior ManagementA long term strategy is desparately needed. The focus for the past decade has been on getting the next deal to sell the company. Promote at least one employee to c-suite instead of the hiring externally.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great company to work for.. Talented consultants and great customer service and employee advocacy..

Vice President of Employee Benefits (Current Employee) Philadelphia, PA

ProsUSI has a challenging environment that focuses on what's best for the customer while balancing its employees needs.. They are one of the best brokers in the Philly market and they have earned great customer loyalty.. USI offers a well rounded benefit package and up to 6 weeks of vacation can be earned...

ConsSales pressure can be high for producers, and customer service reps handle a lot of volume during open enrollment season..

Advice to Senior ManagementAs with every company, the C-Level executives don't give lower level employees a lot of their time..

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
