I worked at UST Global full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Less compensation and no proper salary hike provided which really not a motivating factor for employees

    Advice to Management

Pay wise for deserved and hard working individuals

    Pros

Work life balance - No work pressure when compared to my previous employer Work From Home - My project had work from home. I just loved it. Easy access to people - The company is small (wrt number of employees) when compared to companies like CTS, HCL or TCS. I have worked for bigger companies. Sometime it is a pain to talk to identify and talk to right people. I did not have such problems here.

    Cons

The top level management want to be big in Kerala. They are small in Bangalore and Chennai. So if 10 projects comes up, 8 goes to Kerala and 2 to Chennai. They almost have no presence in Bangalore. The projects are mostly maintenance or minor enhancements. So if you want to work in latest technologies, this is not the place

    Advice to Management

I don't have any advice to the management. They are clear in want they want, that is to be big in Kerala. Also maintenance and minor enhancements constitute to 80% of IT business in the world. If our goals aligns with the company goals, it is a great company to work with. If not, we should find a new job. :) Work life balance is great and I wanted that during my tenure here.

I worked at UST Global full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked for a year and did not notice much positive here. Chennai office is a good place to work and their canteen is the worst place like a cheap mess.

    Cons

This company is for South Indians especially for Keralites. You have a growth if you are South Indian. My juniors used to get more pay just because they were South Indians.

    Advice to Management

    Dont be biased.

    Pros

Flexible work culture, freedom , work life balance (not for all projects ), helping companions

    Cons

Dress code , dirty politics , no professional growth , not providing yearly hike on the rite times ...and more

    Advice to Management

Instead of wasting money for sponsoring cricket teams and buying boat , do spent those money to give salary hike to employees so that at least they will show more sincerity

Please ensure skip level meetings become a mandate for all departments, and not just the delivery teams. Lot of Skeletons will fall out of the closet then.
