I have been working at UST Global full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    No pros from my experience

    Cons

I got selection to UST thru campus recruitment. But unfortunately it was the recession time. So I had to wait for 2 yrs to get into this company after college. I was lucky that I was able to find another job as soon as I got out of the company. But when they called after 2 years wait, they were not ready to consider the 2 years experience I had. They told I have to go normal 3 month training process. They finally agreed to consider my experience after 3 months training, but they never kept their promise. I finally ended up in resigning UST job as I was moving to US. But I was highy dissatisfied with there approach.

I worked at UST Global as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

There's nothing positive to say about this company.

    Cons

DO NOT JOIN - RUN FAR FAR AWAY !

Nepotism runs thru the company and is bordering racism - the middle managers have a team of bullies to control and command the so called workers. Worst culture ever - employees are considered money making machines.

Never join UST Global as a contractor at Philadelphia, PA, USA

I worked at UST Global as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

    1. You will get system/desktop after 1 month.
    2. For 1 month you will have only worst documents to read nothing to work.

    Cons

    1. Once you get the system, your job will be for 2-3 weeks. After this they will find someone inside UST Global and replace you without notice. This happened with me and with others also.
    2. They end contract without any feedback from client. Even if feedback from client is good for you they don't care.
    3. Generally they say that contract will be long term but max contract goes for 3 months.
    4. They always keep on looking for contractors replacement inside UST Global. Once they get you will be fired. Specially for client in Philadelphia, PA.
    5. Managers are not skilled. All managers in Philadelphia, PA accounts are from production support background.
    6. Be careful to join them specially in Philadelphia, PA.
    7. From interview pattern itself you will be able to know that they have production support wok. Though they say that work will be development but its wrong.

I worked at UST Global full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Schedule is flexible, but this of course depends on the client you're working for.

    Cons

RMG here is the worst. They're unprofessional, unaccommodating, and expect you to relocate in a heartbeat. Your experience with UST really depends on the client you're working with and your internal team and that, your fate, is left to RMG. The same goes for work life balance. I've been with clients where it was just 9AM-5PM, and others where its been 10AM-1AM. I've seen both sides of the spectrum, and overall I have gained valuable experiences, but is this a company that I would want to stay with long term? No. If this is the only IT consulting company willing to employ you then go for it, but otherwise reconsider. Pay is lower than industry standards and benefits are scarce.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rethink those on the RMG team, your employees didn't sign up to be in the army. They need to learn to work with the employees and not just give out orders. RMG needs a major overhaul on current processes, procedures, and policies.
