    Cons

Management plays favorites, and its hard to compete with them, even though they don't do as good of work

    Pros

Always a good group to work with, very flexible with school and class schedule. Need to be able to thrive in fast-paced environment, especially during Fall Registration time for new students. Compensation is fair and performance-based bonus is a possibility.

    Cons

None that I can think of, great part-time opportunity that can lead to full-time if desired. Can be good opportunity to banking and lending practices.

    Recommends

    Pros

The credit union acts with the customer in mind, doesn't feel like I'm pressured into selling products as a teller.

    Cons

No real cons to speak of.

    Pros

Good communication between upper management and staff, several branches to move around in if you're front line staff, business casual dress code, health insurance.

    Cons

Very cliche. Upper management has their favorites who receive more training and development towards advancement. Others will decide they don't need the growth and stick it out 5 or 10 years. If its obvious you're not moving up in responsibility, move on after 1-2 years.

    Pros

No micro-managing. Easy work. Take off when needed. Goals are too easy.

    Cons

Staffing and cutting corners to stay out of the red. No RECOGNITION! They have been saying we as a company need to be better at doing it, yet they never do. Don't lie to the public about your contributions to Walker. The company moves slow. So much potential business and they won't go get it. Poor incentives too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay for individual performance. Stop being cheap to fool the Board. Time to get rid of the upper management.

    Pros

The Earned Time Off, floating holidays and birthday holidays are very nice.

    Cons

The leaders don't solve problems, they just try to placate you and hope you forget that there was an issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Some supervisors and managers are not qualified to be leaders. They depend on their employees to give them advice then they take all the credit leaving dissatisfied employees. Also, my supervisor is always late and does not work a full shift.

  9.

    Pros

Good balance between work and social life, as well as a work environment that fosters learning and resources to help you achieve a mastery of the financial industry.

    Cons

especially in retail, the employee turnover is quite high. Also, communication between management and employees sometimes is disrupted and lagged due to the business environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate initatives more effectively to part and peak time employees
