    Positive Outlook

I worked at Ultriva full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people and great customers! The customers really do like the high quality software product that Ultriva Delivers and are passionate about it. Several customers have gone on to work with the company. This makes it easy to get things done and a fun environment to work with. Better than average pay and benefits don't hurt either!

    Cons

Silos and lack of communication between "departments". Being a small company, there's little or no room for advancement if that's what you are looking for.

    Advice to Management

Don't hesitate to seek feedback from customers, testimonials, etc. Make bold moves! Keep up the good work!

  2. Ultriva's solid position in a growth oriented market and flat management structure makes it a great place to work.

    Pros

    - Great environment, good teamwork, good management support - Outstanding and stable technology platform makes selling, implementation and support a pleasure - Fantastic and committed customers - Enormous, untapped potential

    Cons

    - Like most companies in a growth mode, development and implementation of internal policies, practices and procedues often take a backseat to the next deal. While this creates frustration, the management team is quick to react and eager to engage in thoughtful discussions on suggested process improvements.

    Advice to Management

    - Spend more time thinking about and acting upon employee suggestions relating to internal process and system improvement opportunities. - Transition quickly from reactionary to proactive management.
