I have been working at Under Armour full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

colleagues are great, brand events, discount, flexible hours

    Cons

Male dominated company lacking respect for women, gossip atmosphere, immature leadership, locker room mentality

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not sure there is much advice to give considering the assumption no one from UA would listen. My advice is for those who would consider going to work at Under Armour - Don't. Especially if you are a woman. Sexist environment and a very man vs woman mentality, at least in my department. I read some of the reviews before I started, about how it's very cliche and high school, telling myself I could handle it. I'm a strong woman who played sports through high school and college so I thought I'd be fine. Nope, not worth the fight. Doesn't matter if you're strong, you won't get the respect you deserve.

HR is a joke and only looks out for the benefit of the company, not its employees. Doesn't matter if there's blatant sexism living throughout the company.

There's a very arrogant atmosphere from upper management, they don't care about employee turnover. Thought is if you want to leave.. who cares? There is someone right behind you who wants in. Basically, if you can't handle it or don't like it, get out.

I want to leave and will when I can. Sad thing is I don't want to, I wish things were different. My expectations of the company were shattered within the first few months of working there. I wish things were different because I love the idea of the company.. but it's not reality. Save yourself a few years of your career... don't work here!!!

I have been working at Under Armour part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    -50% discount on merchandise
    -$9 per hour

    Cons

    -Schedule
-Force you to sell to customers
    -Overbearing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management at this store had no clue when it came to scheduling. Forced more time on you than you wanted. Did not put the schedule it with much notice. Would take you off the schedule one week and screw you over the next with too much work. Store management was not good at training their employees. Countless times I asked to learn more about products and how things were done only to be shunned away. Was never fully trained to do anything but put clothes on a rack. This was an awful experience that I wish I would not have taken.

I have been working at Under Armour

    Pros

Close to the freeway and 4 10 hour days

    Cons

The only way to get a permanent job is to be family to someone who is a supervisor there is no apreciation and they constantly rotate people -illegal workers and constant changes

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be more apreciative of your hard workers- stop hiding behind an agency- shame on you for allowing only friends and family to be company workers....
