    Pros

A global corporation with some great people. Lots of vacation time, holidays, and a great facility

    Cons

There is so much management (people getting large bonuses counting revenue) putting tremendous pressure on those that dig for gold ( sales) it makes the role undesirable.
I knew of five individuals that had heart attacks while I work there.

    Pros

Flexible work environment. Work with very talented, hard-working engineers. Generally use latest technology and tools.

    Cons

Management (especially at the highest levels) has proven to be clueless. Outsourcing continues as new products and new approaches fail, so the bottom line can only be rescued by deeper spending cuts. Morale was terrific for many years (as the former Siemens company), but has been squashed by narrow-minded cuts. Average pay with miniscule 401k contribution. Can't imagine raises will be given for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Cash in your side deals with your outsourcing partners and turn the reigns over to someone with true vision.

    Pros

They have a great product set with better than industry functionality but they lack a critical mass necessary to make it a viable option in the market.

    Cons

They company is run by the accountants and attorneys. They have lost over 95% of their market share in the past 15 years and there appears to be no recognition of that mismanagement. They continue to lay people off to make the numbers work and they don't pay earned commissions as outlined in their comp plans. Avoid this heart ach and move on.

    Advice to Management

I would not waste my breath. They know what they want to do and their plans do not include you.

    Pros

It's a job with minimal benefits

    Cons

Manged by the Gores group and only focused on profits. Employees are treated poorly, benefits are just minimal.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as the assets they are.

    Pros

If your desperate for a job, and not looking for long term employment, Unify is the place. The company still has a very small and quickly shrinking Customer base.Even though most long term Employees jobs were off shored, our contracted out, they still need a few Employees, at least for now!

    Cons

Company excels at off shoring long term Employees Jobs.
Company will do just about anything, to avoid paying overtime, legal or not.
Company bullies their Contractors, and hides behind vague language, to justify their behavior.
Cronyism is rampant in the Management ranks, with Managers only looking out for themselves.

    Advice to Management

Honesty, and treating Employees with respect, works much better than lies. Getting rid of long time employees to avoid future obligations, might not be the best strategy for a successful business.

    Cons

Constant layoffs. No job performance reviews. No 401k matching. No promotions. No salary increases in almost 4 years.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring new SVPs and VPs while laying off thousands of employees. Who will do the work? Who willexecue the vision and strategy?

    Pros

work like balance is nice. I enjoy being able to work from anywhere. It really allows for personal enjoyment to be had when you can manage things from home.

    Cons

Issues with the on boarding process and a lack of clarity in requirements.

    Advice to Management

Specialize teams more, there are some that are too broadly defined the focus gets lost.
