    Pros

Good holidays which all banks offer

    Cons

Major changes in leadership have had negative impacts on the bank. Distrust and micromanagement techniques make employees feel less confident in their positions, even ones they've held for years. Employees that have done everything right are still made to feel poorly about their efforts and that they've done something wrong. Act like they have great values and culture but do not at all.

    Advice to Management

Let employees and managers do their jobs without having to look over their shoulder. Hold the right people accountable, not the ones trying to do their jobs. Stop treating hard working and loyal employees like they are expendable. You need to involve people to get them to "buy in" to new practices. Stop making sweeping decisions without any knowledge of what you're doing. Promote people who have done the work so they know how to make the right decisions for departments.

    Pros

Free health care, lot of vacation days, doesn't hound you for sales

    Cons

Pay is low, that's really about it.

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay and give bonuses. The bank is trying to become a big bank but the reason employees like working for Union is because your smaller, that goes for your customers as well.

Great vacation time offered upfront, somewhat up to date systems

    Cons

Poor leadership and structure, no real growth opportunity, no diversity a lot of office politics, poor pay

    Advice to Management

Advice to company would be to offer and ethics line where employees can address concerns they may have without necessarily having to put themselves in a position where there will be backlash for speaking up on unfair practices.
