I have been working at Union Telephone full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Small company. Higher than average wages. Smart, nice coworkers. Loyal coworkers.

    Cons

Main office is in the middle of no where, Wyoming. Very high school & cliquey. They say it is an open door company, it is not. HR does not take your complaints seriously. They will side with the director rather than you. HR is very much do as I say not as I do. If you are not a favorite don't expect to be treated well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees about directors & their behavior, actions, comments, etc. The director is NOT better than the other people in the department. The other people in the department are who make that director look good.
One department is not any better than another.
DO NOT always praise Customer Care. There are so many other departments behind the scenes that make this company great. Customer Care isn't as great as you think it is.
Care about your customers a little bit more.
