    Pros

I recently started working for Union Wireless and I love it! It is such a welcoming environment and everyone really cares about you. It's true what the ads say, your a name...not a just a number.

    Cons

None yet that I can think of.

    Advice to Management

Depends on the needs and if I really want that.

    Pros

Benefits: Medical, 401k matching, the people "in the trench's" are awesome and lots of friends will be made. NOTE: the location of this company is in Mountain View, WY. it would not come up in the location selection box. Had to select some random location.

    Cons

Supervisor's on up do not care about you as an individual with family. There more concerned about themselves looking good to management, meeting deadlines (if not met then you are basically 'thrown under the bus'). No support or standing up for their employees. They would rather you quit or get fired and hire someone else, not considering the amount of time and money spent on you in training as an employee. Programmers Analysts in the IT Dept are required to take 'Help Desk' Calls. You ARE NOT A full time programmer. You will be able to program about 50%+ of your time while spending the rest on support of other administrative like tasks. The "in the trench's" folks are great and many friends will be made. With all this said, after 13+ years at the company and what I know now, I WOULD NOT want to work there. Best of luck.

    Advice to Management

Empower your employees. If there is a problem talk about it and work in out. Just don't FIRE AND HIRE. Remember they have familys too.

  3. For a communications company there is a lack of communication

    Pros

Small company. Higher than average wages. Smart, nice coworkers. Loyal coworkers.

    Cons

Main office is in the middle of no where, Wyoming. Very high school & cliquey. They say it is an open door company, it is not. HR does not take your complaints seriously. They will side with the director rather than you. HR is very much do as I say not as I do. If you are not a favorite don't expect to be treated well.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees about directors & their behavior, actions, comments, etc. The director is NOT better than the other people in the department. The other people in the department are who make that director look good. One department is not any better than another. DO NOT always praise Customer Care. There are so many other departments behind the scenes that make this company great. Customer Care isn't as great as you think it is. Care about your customers a little bit more.
