I have been working at Unison Site Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Speaking of the sales team: If you are willing and able to perform, you will be rewarded. If not, you will be looking for a new job fairly soon.

    Cons

Training really depends on your manager and on your ability to figure it out quick. If you're considering a big career shift, this is probably not the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Don't keep people on just because three years ago they brought in a lot of business. Move on.

    Advice to Management

offer more room for growth, do not view dedicated hardworking employees as replaceable. be more transparent.

    Pros

I can't think of anything positive from the time spent at Unison. I'm just filling a space here.

    Cons

no morals or ethics as far as management is concerned. They will hire just about anyone on the sales side and then steal their deals. The market has become increasingly saturated and employees are trained to lie to site owners who depend on the income they are getting. Unison won't be around in a couple years.

    Advice to Management

Try actually being involved and helping the sales team instead of just sitting around waiting to poach a deal. Absolutely hands down the worst job I've ever had.

    Pros

Great, door to door, fast talking, flimflam training.

    Cons

Many, this is such a niche industry. Very dirty behind the scenes activity taking place. Some questionable moral character and behavior

Awesome fellow employees- all hardworking & cool Occasional contests to win free office lunch/$25 gift card Employee support

    Cons

Deceiving managers- talk behind closed doors, act like they care about your success but just want the sale Sales scripts that mask the truth about the offer Money hungry upper management- make bad business decisions, don't listen to employee suggestions

    Advice to Management

You should have sold to American Tower when you had the chance.

I have been working at Unison Site Management full-time

    Pros

By and large they leave you alone on a daily basis

    Cons

Lack of integrity. They will screw you out of a commission any chance they get. Their whole business model is to take advantage of unsuspecting site owners. In fact, their whole training is about telling a lie convincingly. Senior management likes to make money at the expense of their employees. They don't care whether or not you make money, as long as they do.

    Advice to Management

    Get some integrity

    Pros

Unison is a small company so I have had a lot of opportunity to learn and to grow. Great to work at a place where you can learn on the job.

    Cons

I have been with Unison for more than three years and have truly enjoyed the experience

    Advice to Management

The management team is truly driven to succeed. Great to work with highly successful people.

I worked at Unison Site Management full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent salary for the area. Easy job. Free soda.

    Cons

Where do I start? Unethical management, unethical business practices, no accountability for anything. The management team are mostly friends of the CEO, who have little experience with their job title. The office environment is mostly like a high school home-room - meaning that if you're in with the right crowd, you can take 3 hour lunches - if not, well you're treated poorly. The health insurance had terrible options as the business grew. The decisions made for any project are simply just "fix now", as opposed to searching for a long term solutions.

I worked at Unison Site Management full-time

    Pros

Autonomy, but then again what good is that at a place like this?

    Cons

Immoral at bestl. Perhaps it is the mantra of American business but at this place it is every man for themselves and the higher up in the food chain you go here, the more that is true. Stars leave to compete with them. And the remaining high flyers are despicable, but so in tight over the years with the CEO that he has nary a clue. Whether a customer, client, carrier, whatever, the company cares little except to add to its own bottom line.

    Advice to Management

Your must trusted associate is you biggest liability

    Pros

Compensation is reasonable but not worth the pain.

    Cons

Employees not valued. CEO micromanages. Managing directors are a group of back biting idiots who only do what CEO says to avoid his venom.

    Advice to Management

Avoid this place. It will only end badly.
