    Pros

My co-workers have been the best part of working for UAL. A great bunch of knowledgeable, professional and fun people.

    Cons

Very little communication from upper management when decisions are being made. Little or no consideration for the views/opinions of the subject matter experts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start listening to the people who REALLY run the airline!

    Pros

If you want to make a "somewhat" reasonable wage for doing absolutley nothing, this is the place for you. There is no accountability for anything. No one is held accountable, even though everyone there talks the talk, they don't walk the walk. They say they want accountability, but have no clue on how to achieve it. The lack of developement is very previlent.

    Cons

There is no accountability. The wages are still dated from the 1990's. Wages for the people who have been there for 20 years plus and have been there to help the company get through a bankruptcy, are pathetic. The people are being told to change,,,,,, but have no clue how to. There is no guidence.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's time to step up to the plate and start paying your employees what they are worth. When the company went through a bankruptcy, they should have realized at that time, "the cream rised to the top". The "deadwood" should have been cut away and the quality of talent should have been left to move the company through the bankruptcy. The Senior Management did not recognize this and treated the employees like they were nothing more than slave labor.
