    Pros

Its a job if you're desperate.

    Cons

No breaks or lunches no matter how many hours you work. The company treats its employees horribly. Wages are insanely low.

I worked at United Dairy Farmers

    Pros

Weekly Pay, Decent Wage, Benefits, Flexible schedule, Upper Management were ridiculously strict on some rules that were not very clear in the first place. Other than that, they're pleasant.

    Cons

Hard to grow when everything stops you, people are at each others throats. Very cutthroat environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be so harsh on newer employees. They're not as seasoned as your lifer managers, and you can't expect them to be. If they make a mistake, don't automatically fire them. Give them a chance to prove their worth, they'll either sink, or swim.

OK place to work as long as your manager and district manager get along

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at United Dairy Farmers

    Pros

decent pay, bonuses for upper management in stores. Not much else I can think about so is this 20 words?

    Cons

Heaven forbid your manager and district manager do not get along, especially if you are an assistant manager or higher in a store. The DM can make your life miserable, demanding you send help to other stores, and if you cannot find help then you must go yourself, even if it means pulling a double.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not take out your dislike of a manager on those below them, or else you could find a store missing any sort of management when the main manager goes out of contact on vacation.

I worked at United Dairy Farmers

    Pros

Working with the customers and co-workers was the best part of the day.

    Cons

Management expected too much from a short handed staff that was paid near minimum.

Former Employee - Third Shift Clerk in Cincinnati, OH

I worked at United Dairy Farmers part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay - always a plus in my eyes
    3rd shift salary differential - $.50 isn't a terrible boost for overnight
Uniform provided - obviously, but glassdoor says you need a 20 word minimum...

    Cons

Low morale - Management would rather tell you what you did wrong than what you did right
Basically no benefits for working there - not even a single discount.... but you do get benefits upon promotion
24 hr/week max for part-time in Cincinnati market - part time sucks, i get it. but 24 hours? max? gotta be kidding me
Paid on a monday - I'm college age... come on now....
No set schedule - some people like it this way, not me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less complaining. I always hated running into the office before my shift just to see a huge list of complaints about the tiniest things, but i can understand why those things are important. My managers were good people, they just felt the pressure from above so much harder than they deserved.

I have been working at United Dairy Farmers full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Not many, steady job. Free Uniforms, benifits.

    Cons

No discounts, hardly any pay raise, if you get hired on at a certain rate you hardly get a raise. New employee get paid more than people who have been there longer. Always understaffed, and busy. But a job is a job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give longer employee's more money.
