    Pros

Good benefits, company vehicle, and decent pay. I personally prefer a salary position. and job security is a plus. Many people have been with the company 10+ years.

    Cons

Long hours each day. takes a while to move through the ranks, because people rarely leave the company (which i guess is a good thing). Holidays are spent in the trade, not a whole lot of family time. takes 10 years to get 3 weeks of vacation time.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people to take some of the work load off your best/hardest working employees.

Sales job, easygoing atmosphere, and older crowd.

    Pros

Good Hours and Pay. You work for yourself as basically an indepentant contractor. Your pay is based on commision only.

    Cons

Poor Management. Sit behind desks and look at dirty pictures all day. No support unless a review or upper management comes into town. Management does get out if they have a bonus on some items that are not being pushed by the sales representatives because it may be an item that will flop. Example some liquor called Shark Bite that was blue and tasted like Aqua Velva. Total garbage that would not sell, but management tried to push it in because they don't see the accounts except when they need something.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach. Don't take credit unless it is due.

    Pros

Established territory, market exclusivity, great portfolio, new product lines and acquisitions offer great sales opportunities.

    Cons

Very little chance for advancement currently, current bonus structure is well-balanced but stagnant

    Pros

Very Independent work. Minimal time spent in the office or under supervision. Colleagues and office staff are very friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Little to no opportunity for advancement within the company. Poor training programs for new hires. Pay structure does not motivate to "sell more", as employees are not paid on commission. This payment structure allows for both a fluctuating monthly income, as well as smaller "bonus" pay, even when more product is sold. Bonuses are earned monthly, however bonus income is not actually a "bonus", but a part of your salary. i.e, it is not possible to live solely off the bi-weekly pay. Little to no gas or car allowance paid, and if it is awarded, it is also counted as a part of your overall salary. Must use personal car for work. There is a distinct difference between those who are "insiders" and "outsiders".

    Advice to Management

Put your sales force on commission.

    Pros

Very nice people, good company, some projects were interesting and constructive. I got to meet most people who worked there at some point. I felt very welcomed.

    Cons

Didn't always have something to do, days could be boring, pay wasn't fitting for industry standard

    Pros

Very professional organization. Plenty of support. Plenty of opportunity for advancement. The on-premise managers want all their people to make a ton of money.

    Cons

Crazy hours. The head of on-premise has his "favorites", and he's not afraid to let everyone know who they are.
