This is a new company within our city. It is only over a year or so old. It was exciting to be at the ground floor of a new company.

I have been working at United Seating & Mobility

    Pros

They have coffee and doughnuts... sometimes.

    Cons

The computer systems are antiquated. They are taking away Microsoft office and replacing it with very inferior "free" software. They are also taking away printers and going to one centralized printer for an office of 50. Raises are non existent. The work load has easily doubled since this time last year, the issues with the computer systems have also doubled. It's impossible to keep up with the workload. Yet upper management sees fit to brag about $125 million in revenue and that they are continuing to grow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow a pear. Make it clear to upper management about the seriousness of this situation and the overall dissatisfaction of your employees. Stop using your employees as a scapegoat and throwing them under the bus in an attempt to make yourself look better. "No, I'm not going to say anything to anyone about this situation because it wouldn't do any good" shoudl never, EVER come out of a managers mouth. Upper management: If you are that oblivious to the reality of the toxic work environment you have created, then you should not be in a position of power. ever. Get a clue and look around you.
