UnitedHealth Group Reviews
-
Pros
-Some departments are open to telecommuting
-Good work and life balanceCons
-Low salaries with no/low increase
-Low raises for promotions from within
-A lot of deadend positions
-Most departments are boring, repetitive and doesn't offer any challenge
-No clear role definition, and no career track and development
-Systems are full of patches from the different companies it acquired over the year
-Company recognizes and reward the management more than the non-managements. It does not care nor want to retain employees who are in the trenches
-Upper management has a tendency to withhold information as a source of power
-Favoritism plays a huge role in hiring/promotion. Management tends to promote people with a similar education or professional background as themselvesAdvice to Senior Management
Stop the endless cycle of not retaining your good employees, and asking for more resources because of lowered productivity. It doesn't help to keep throwing money to end up with half-hearted employees.
