    Pros

Great staff that worked hard to get the enormous amount of work done

    Cons

Leadership constantly changing. No continuity-5 new DON's and 4 new Administrators in the 4 years I was there.

    Advice to Management

Quit sending in interim management to straighten out the mess and invest in some decent leadership.

I worked at Universal Health Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Stellar associates peppered within each department able to support department decision makers

    Cons

Department decision makers unknowledgeable as to the role of their department and/or how it works, thus directly impacting their decisions and indecisions on enterprise-wide implementations

    Advice to Management

Know the role of your department an how the department interacts within company departments as well as its vendors. Own your departmental processes & procedures both internal and vendor.

I have been working at Universal Health Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the residents are really cute and remind you of your favorite Grandparent

    Cons

Everything is old and/or broken. They spend more money on making it look safe then they actually spend on making it safe. They still have crank beds and the mechanical beds don't work most of the time so you have to move the cords around till you get some power and hope you don't get fried. The pay is not competitive for this field and there is no room for growth unless you know someone or are related to someone.

    Advice to Management

Give employees something to be motivated about. There is no excitement or morale boost going on. When you come in there is nothing to look forward to but being overworked, underpaid, underappreciated and beat up by the residents.
