I have been working at Universal Orlando Resort full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fast Pace, Good Pay for back of house team. Environment where you are always challenged. Management truly works to help with life-work balance, not just a recruiting line

    Cons

Sometimes difficult to take a breath with the break-neck pace. Not a place for slugs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work. Shed some more dead weight managers/directors who have just been keeping a seat warm

    Pros

Fun place to work, with nice perks for management team. You work in an environment where you can make an impact on people's day.

    Cons

The pay is extremely low for the responsibility. Also, past experience outside of the theme park industry is not always recognized.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need more leaders in management positions. Many know how to manage operations, but need improvement in people management.

I worked at Universal Orlando Resort full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The pay is the best for not working in an administrative position. The hours are great and the benefits are awesome. The management team really do have an " open door" policy and give you what you need to succeed! You sell fun all day and its amazing!

    Cons

The only con that I saw was that the Guest Contact Center was not located at or by the park.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
