I worked at Universal Personnel as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked through Universal for about 4 years. The recruiters are always available to help, communication was fairly open. Loved socializing with them at work functions. Safety was becoming a priority, as monthly meetings were starting to reflect this.

    Cons

The insurance/Heath benefits changed and the choices were not that great. Otherwise I have no complaints about working for them.

    I worked at Universal Personnel

    Pros

Very nice people. Great opportunity to learn from the client. Universal Personnel don't get involved much with the client and your relationship which I thought was good. Flexible with family life.

    Cons

No backbone. No raises( 3 years for some and longer for others) and took holidays pay away for PTO then cut that to 1.83 a week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take care of your people. They work hard for you so you need to do the same for them. Stop letting the gas giant push you around you have good people and they are going to leave because if they don't get raises and etc.
