    Student Worker in HR office

    Student Worker (Current Employee)
    University, MS

ProsAllows you to see the benefits side of human resources and the customer service skills needed to handle employees

Very flexible working hours. Supervisor understands that you are a student first and does not make you choose between school and work

    Provided with own working space

ConsJob can become boring when all projects are completed. There are small continuing task that are available, but they become mundane very quickly.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep tasks available for students.

A good workplace for both graduates and undergraduaes

    University, MS

ProsFriendly atmosphere, easy going professors, equipped with all most all instruments. small size classes so that easy to get contact with professors whenever we have a question. Scenic campus

ConsSmall department, Not much grant money in the department. So most of the times students have to teach almost every semester until they graduate. So very less chances of getting research assistance ship until you wait till end of your graduation.

    Frustrating

    Resident Assistant (Former Employee)
    University, MS

ProsI got to meet many people and participate in many different programs. I also got experience in managing many different types of issues.

ConsIt was frustrating how disorganized everything was. I never knew what to expect. I also was forced to cover desk shifts that I shouldn't have since they weren't competent enough to hire someone for these shifts after 3 weeks.

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen you make a calendar, stick to it.
